Who we are

vonaparis.com is operated by ROVELYAN (trading as VONA), a sole proprietorship registered in France — SIREN 107 877 979 — 7 rue Neuve, 25500 Morteau, France. Questions about your data: contact@vonaparis.com. We answer within 3 business days.

What we collect

  • Order information — name, shipping address, email, phone if you give it, order contents and history.
  • Payment information — handled entirely by Shopify Payments and the wallet you choose (Apple Pay, PayPal, Klarna). Card numbers never reach our servers and we never see them.
  • Email address, if you subscribe to our newsletter.
  • Device and browsing data — IP address, browser, pages viewed, referring site, and identifiers set by cookies and similar technologies.

Why we use it

  • To take payment, ship your order and handle returns.
  • To answer your messages.
  • To send you our newsletter if you asked for it — two emails a month at most, with an unsubscribe link in every one, as required by the CAN-SPAM Act.
  • To keep the site working and secure, and to prevent fraud.
  • To measure and target our advertising.

Advertising and analytics — read this part

We run advertising on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and we use the Meta pixel on this site. It records actions such as viewing a product or completing a purchase, and sends them to Meta together with identifiers that can be matched to your Meta account.

We do not sell your personal information for money. But sharing data with an advertising platform for targeted advertising is treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under several state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act. We would rather say so plainly than hide behind a narrow definition.

How to stop it: refuse non-essential cookies in the banner on this site, or use the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer. You can also limit ad tracking in your Meta account settings and in your browser or phone.

Who else receives your data

  • Shopify — hosting, checkout and payments.
  • Carriers and fulfilment partners — to deliver your parcel.
  • Meta — advertising measurement and targeting, as described above.

We do not sell your data to data brokers, and we do not share it with anyone else for their own marketing.

Where your data goes

We are based in France and our products ship from China. Your order details are processed in the European Union and the United States, and shared with carriers as needed to deliver your parcel. By ordering, you understand your information will be handled outside your own state or country.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you the personal information we hold, correct it, delete it, send you a copy, or stop using it for advertising. Write to contact@vonaparis.com and we act within 30 days. We will never charge you or degrade your service for exercising these rights.

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with consumer privacy laws hold these rights under those laws, including the right to opt out of sale or sharing for targeted advertising. California residents may also designate an authorised agent to act for them.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records for as long as accounting and tax rules require. Newsletter data until you unsubscribe. Advertising identifiers for the lifetime of the cookie, which you control.

Children

This shop is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS and payments are encrypted and handled by Shopify. No system is perfect; if a breach ever affected your data, we would tell you.

Changes

If we change this policy we update this page and the date below. Material changes will be announced on the site.
